It is with great pride that we welcome you to Alcorn State University Meridian Lauderdale Alumni Chapter website.  Serving alumni, prospective students and friends in the Meridian Lauderdale County of East Central Mississippi.

Our theme: “ Honor, Pride and Dignity Since 1871 ” is an indication of our commitment to the university.

In 2012 Alcorn State University won the top honor of HBCU of the Year at the annual HBCU Awards hosted by The Center for HBCU Media Advocacy. The awards ceremony honors excellence at historically black colleges and universities.

Alcorn State University continues to move forward by enhancing knowledge and building character into student leaders which benefits the communities, state, nation, and the world.

As you review this website, it is with this goal in mind that the Meridian/Lauderdale Chapter strives to provide total support to our great university.
